I thought one of our deacons said it very well: “I know we were supposed to have a one day revival in early November, but I feel like that was just getting us ready for today (Sunday, Nov. 18).   I feel like real revival happened today!”

I think he’s right!  Robert Brown brought it down!  He challenged us to be a church, like the early church, which:

1. lived morally beautiful lives without being judgemental;
2. cared for children in a culture that no one else cared for
3. valued women as people of worth; and
4. touched the untouchable through ministry and care.

Why should we do this?

1. God said so!
2. We get to impact people.
3. We experience the blessing of giving instead of receiving.
4. The Jesus that died for us deserves no less.

Powerful!

Add to this the great fellowship we had at the Thanksgiving meal - the food was fabulous as was the fun pocket scavenger hunt!

PLUS - really celebrate - we had over $54,000 given to the OPEN DOOR OFFERING!!!!  This means that we passed the half way mark toward our goal of $100,000!  Your gift will make a difference as we seek to share with the world the good news of Jesus!
