Listening to God
I wanted to listen to God today. I do that best on the water, so I went off in search of enough water to float my boat - not easy to do in a drought. The first choice, Charleston, had a small craft advisory because of Tropical Storm Noel. I went with my backup - Lake Murray.
Great weather - sunshine, breeze. And it is amazing how much better I listen to God when bobbing up and down.
I laid out the message series for January - don’t miss FISH (First, Improve Spiritual Health). Then I worked on ideas for February - April. Several ideas were good, but didn’t feel right. I did get two rough outlines done and feel good about those. I’ll be refining them in the next few weeks.
Amazing how well we hear God when we pull away -isn’t it?
