Sunday Download
I did catch a nap this afternoon which has helped me be sane! Some things that really stood out:
- There was such a warmth in all three services. ADBC is a great church to preach to. People are engaged and trusting - so much so that no one seemed to flinch when I got ready to throw the egg.
- The joy of dedicating two children at 9:45 is awesome. As I said, Parent child church dedication is really about a commitment to provide an environment that helps children come to know Jesus. It’s not about eternal life is something happens to the baby. Bad theology, found nowhere in the Bible. BUT the sincerity on the part of both parents really touched.
- We had deacon’s meeting this afternoon. Our deacons know how to pray - they touched me with the genuiness of their voices lifted to God.
- I have gotten two chapters dictated of the booklet “Family Imperfect.” We will have copies of this material available this Sunday when Michael Smalley is our guest.
- Remember to invite someone to be come with you next Sunday and Park in the back!!
