Wednesday WOW
Great crowd as we kicked off Wednesday night for the fall season. BUT the best part was I walked over to THE STUDIO (Youth Building) and one of the adult leaders told me she had the priviledge of leading a young man to Christ tonight! This is what we’re all about at ADBC - helping people take their next step. It is a thrill that one of our lay leaders got the joy of doing this!! Go Student ministry! Thank you God!

As I have delivered a few lectures in my life and understand the prep and steps it entails, I really appreciate all you do for our church WITH the energy and happiness with which you do it. It’s hard work and I thank you for it. Thanks for not being lazy and content and for staying hungry. You know well that the team takes the personality of it’s head coach. So, thanks Clay.
Also, Susan and I would like to have your family over for supper some night. We figure a Friday would be best out of all the possible times, but we don’t fully know your schedule. Are particular days in general better than others? You kids are certainly invited too, if they are OK being generationally sandwiched between 1&3 graders and old folk like us.
Lastly, I am re-reading the Count of Monte Cristo, my all time favorite novel and there are many Christ-like themes in that one also. I once thought it was a book about revenge but now I think there is a good deal of forgiveness in it too.
No need to respond to any of the above other than the dinner options.
